When you get a quote to hire a marquee from our team at NZ Marquee Hire, you can ask them to source and quote a whole lot of the other party hire items you may need:

Hire marquee sizes vary - a LOT!
We have huge marquee options that are large enough to seat 1000 guests, and we have smaller marquees that are perfect for an intimate backyard party with 40 guests - and everything in between!
This is why we will ask how many guests you want to have in your marquee, and we can advise on table layout and table options to make sure there is room for the kind of seating you want. You can check our Marquee Planner as a guide, but we'd love to help.
Marquee style and styling
Firstly you can choose from a large range of hire marquees. You might have your heart set on the romantic drapery of a fully silk lined marquee - or you might be a huge fan of clear marquees that let you enjoy the natural light and scenery.
And, you can choose a mix of panels (marquee wall and ceiling) to create the exact effect you want - for example walls can be tied back completely and only closed if the weather changes, or they can be clear to let the light in more - and you can alternate clear and white ceiling panels to make use of natural 'skylights' to illuminate your event.
If you hire lighting from us, our NZ Marquee Hire installers can be engaged to string it up when they install your marquee and may be able to hang other items too if requested beforehand. Likewise if you hire furniture through us, we will ensure that it gets to your event and our guys can be tasked with arranging it as required.
Our hire marquees do not have internal poles - so your entire indoor space is available to use - make the most of it!
Your marquee footing can be your choice too
If you want a boho summer experience you can get us to erect the marquee straight onto the grass of an open field and your guests can dance barefoot on the turf.
If your event is in the city on concrete or asphalt, or on your back deck, our team can install your marquee on that surface for you.
If you want flooring we can hire you wooden panels for a beautiful luxe effect, or white slate for class and the perfect dance floor - or ultradeck or carpet panels to create a robust event flooring.
Need lawn protection so delivery trucks don't cause big muddy marks, or catering staff don't track mud into the marquee? Ask about ground matting hire too.
Weather isn't going to be an issue
We hire seriously weatherproof marquees so unless its a serious weather event, we've got you covered. Our marquees are wind-rated to 100km/hr. The marquees are seriously robust and built to provide great shelter even in buffeting spring winds or heavy rainfall.
A hire marquee doesn't need a lot of space
Measure the area you want to put your marquee and make sure that there is truck access so the marquee can be delivered right to the spot. As long as you have access and room for the right size marquee, you don't need a lot of extra space to enable us to put it up!
As a rule of thumb, our team will require a 1 metre wide working area around each side of the outside of the marquee. For example, if you are hiring a 8 x 20m marquee, we would require a 10 x 22m space.
