Summer Party Planning Tips
Refreshments must be refreshing!
Ensuring you have a large chiller on site means you can keep drinks cool and food safe. Either a spare fridge, catering chiller, or plentiful chilly bins with limitless ice will provide deliciously cool drinks, and ensure that you can serve cool, non-contaminated food (which won't make anyone remember the party for the wrong reasons)!
Too much sunshine is a headache, and a health risk
Provide shelter and shade for your guests. There's nothing worse than standing chatting with friends, knowing that you'll pay the price later with a serious sunburn. Shade options range from trees to marquees (sides are optional but shady areas are not), and you might decide to provide spare sunhats and dot bottles of sunblock around for guests to use. Melanoma is a serious health risk, and even if people don't get sunburned, the headaches and dehydration of sunstroke can ruin the best event.
If you're opting for one of our clear marquees, remember that you can create shady areas by adding strips of silk lining to the ceiling, or alternating white panels as needed.
Get the dance floor moving
We've missed out on so much dancing! Why not hire a DJ instead of just hooking up the spotify playlist? If you want to take it to the next level, you can hire a chandelier or disco ball, and add a dance floor for your marquee hire package to ensure that high heels and uneven footing aren't an issue.
